Fatguys Banner - Vert, a tankard Or.

Fourteen Folks in the Fat Guy Pool

(by Lord Gorlan of the Red Lands, 1998)
(Tune: "Fifteen Men on a Dead Man's Chest" by Young Ewing Allison)

Fourteen folks in the Fat Guy Pool
Yo ho ho and a cloven fruit
Fifteen folks if you count the fool
Yo ho ho and a cloven fruit

Redheads preferred, but all can come
Yo ho ho and a cloven fruit
The Fat Guys will welcome anyone
Yo ho ho and a cloven fruit

Drambuie moments to the count of ten
Yo ho ho and a cloven fruit
Babaloo moments every now and then
Yo ho ho and a cloven fruit

While in the pool you can get some wine
Yo ho ho and a cloven fruit
Delivered by a Baron in manner refined
Yo ho ho and a cloven fruit

Bunny fur back rubs in the night
Yo ho ho and a cloven fruit
It really is a funny sight
Yo ho ho and a cloven fruit.

Squires in Kilts who trip and fall
Yo ho ho and a cloven fruit
Giving a free show to one and all
Yo ho ho and a cloven fruit.

An amazon was training her puppy there
Yo ho ho and a cloven fruit
Under a blanket to reduce the stares
Yo ho ho and a cloven fruit.

Bawdy songs to set the mood
Yo ho ho and a cloven fruit
We admit at times it can get real crude
Yo ho ho and a cloven fruit

Life guards watch both fat and thin
Yo ho ho and a cloven fruit
In other words, Voyeurs to shy to join in
Yo ho ho and a cloven fruit

No shoes allowed, we like bare feet
Yo ho ho and a cloven fruit
Dipped in Amaretto and ready to eat
Yo ho ho and a cloven fruit

No pointy objects allowed in the pool
Yo ho ho and a cloven fruit
No we're not talking about THAT you fool
Yo ho ho and a cloven fruit.

That's enough singing its time for a brew
Yo ho ho and a cloven fruit
New verses now are up to you
Yo ho ho and a cloven fruit.

History. The Story Behind this Song

Little Helmut has started to bring an 8 man inflatable pool to events. It has yet to see any water in it. But for some unexplained reason, it is always full of people (At the time the song was written 15 was the record.). The song describes what has happened in and around the pool over the last four events. There may be more verses to come. And Who knows, one day we may actually put water into it.
